After spending a fabulous childhood in Riga within an artistic and creative environment of post-soviet decadence, I left for Finland in 1992 to study at the University of Art and Design of Helsinki. 5 years later, in 1997, my passion for travel pushed me further: I discovered France and Paris and finished there my master studies of fashion design in French Fashion Institute (IFM). I felt in love with this fabulous country, forgot to move on, and finally settled down and founded family. That’s how I still live in France.</p> <p>Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame.
