Women's Thermoball Traction Booties
Slipper Bootie · Camp / Après / Travel / Errands

Post-expedition comfort should never be an afterthought. That's why we created the Thermoball Traction Booties. These versatile shoes were born at base camp but adapted for everyday life. Lightweight and packable for easy transportation. Insulated and fleece-lined for unrivaled comfort and warmth. These are the all-in-one solution for running errands, après relaxation, or kicking back at camp.

Recycled P.E.T. Ripstop Upper
Upper made with 100% recycled P.E.T. ripstop with a non-PFC durable water-repellent finish for added water repellency. Lightweight, packable, and built from plastic that would otherwise be in a landfill. The ripstop weave holds up to scuffing on cabin floors, campsite gravel, and the daily wear of an everyday slipper.
Thermoball™ Insulation
Thermoball 100% recycled polyester insulation helps keep feet warm even when wet. Synthetic clusters of insulation that mimic down — but unlike down, they retain their warmth when damp, which matters in a snowbank, a wet tent floor, or a damp cabin entryway. Recycled content keeps the footprint lower than virgin synthetic insulation.
Easy On/Off Design
Slip-on construction with a stretch-friendly collar — no laces, no buckles, no zippers to wrestle. Pull them on over bare feet, socks, or base layers. Kick them off at the door the same way. Built for the unhurried comfort of après, cabin mornings, and post-trail decompression.
Recycled-Rubber Outsole
Outsole made with up to 20% recycled rubber for grip on tile, wood, deck boards, gravel, and packed dirt. The traction pattern is light enough to wear indoors without scuffing floors but grippy enough to step outside to the fire pit, the wood pile, or the dog without slipping. Lighter than a full hiking shoe, grippier than a stocking-foot slipper.
Fleece-Lined Interior
Plush fleece lining wraps the foot in soft, low-bulk warmth. The fleece wicks a small amount of moisture and adds a layer of next-to-skin comfort that turns the bootie into something you forget you're wearing. Comfortable enough for long evenings by the fire and warm enough for cold-floor mornings before the heat kicks in.
Packable Construction
Lightweight, low-profile build compresses down to fit in a duffel, a backpack lid, or a carry-on. The booties are the kind of luxury that takes up almost no space in a travel bag but earns its weight the moment you reach base camp, a hotel room, or a friend's guest bedroom.

Sustainability

Recycled Content
Upper, insulation, and outsole all use recycled materials
Finish
Non-PFC DWR (no perfluorinated chemicals)
Spot Clean
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For scuffs or dirt, use a soft brush. Air dry away from direct heat. The booties live in a low-abuse world — camp, cabin, après, around the house — so spot cleaning handles most of what they'll see.
Hand Wash
For deeper cleaning, hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. The Thermoball insulation, the fleece lining, and the DWR finish on the ripstop upper can all be damaged by machine agitation and high heat. Hand washing preserves the loft of the insulation and keeps the lining soft.
Air Dry
Stuff with paper towels or a clean dry cloth and air dry away from direct heat and sunlight. Reshape the collar and the toe box while damp. Do not put in the dryer. Do not iron. High heat will melt the ripstop fibers, clump the insulation, and shrink the fleece lining.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place with the collar upright. Avoid leaving them compressed in a duffel or under a stack of gear for long periods — the Thermoball insulation loses loft when stored tightly packed, which reduces warmth. If they're a travel staple, store them loosely in a tote or a drawer rather than wedged in luggage.
Restore DWR
When the ripstop upper starts absorbing water instead of repelling it, re-treat with a spray-on DWR designed for technical outerwear. Reactivating the finish every few months keeps the booties handling wet cabin floors, damp tent entries, and snowy porches without soaking through.
