7'' DuraVent Cathedral Ceiling Support Kit

The 7" DuraVent Cathedral Ceiling Support Kit contains all the components needed to install a 7" chimney (excluding black stove pipe and DuraTech chimney sections) straight up through a cathedral ceiling. This kit includes the following: (from the cap down) 7" DuraTech Rain Cap 7" DuraTech Storm Collar 7" DuraTech Ceiling Support Box - Options available.

DuraTech is designed to stay cool on the outside, to provide a hot draft on the inside, to boost stove efficiency, and to provide for a fire-safe design that protects both the chimney and the building. This triple-wall chimney features two insulating layers (ceramic blanket, plus airspace). The ceramic blanket insulation is held securely in position, eliminating hot spots common with loose fill type insulations. In the event of a creosote fire, the compressible blanket insulation permits the chimney liner to expand outwardly in a radial direction. Designed for normal, continuous operation at 1000° F flue gas temperatures, DuraTech is subjected to rigorous and stringent HT requirements of the UL standard, including one hour at 1400° F, plus three ten minute chimney fire tests at 2100° F.

The 7" DuraTech Cathedral Ceiling Support Kit is mobile home and manufactured home approved and specifically designed with the do-it-yourself installer in mind.

The DuraTech 5-8" Inside Diameter Spark Arrestor is used on the inside of the cap. The optional spark arrestor may be required.

DuraTech 7" Class A Chimney Pipe Chimney Cap - 7DT-VC
The DuraTech 7" Class A Chimney Pipe Chimney Cap is designed for appliances that are tested and listed for is used with a 2100° F HT chimney system, such as wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, ranges, water heaters, or other appliances fueled by wood, oil, coal, or gas. Available in stainless steel (SS) or in a galvalume (GA) outer casing and stainless steel inner wall with twist-lock connections.

DuraTech 7"-8" Class A Chimney Pipe Storm Collar - 7DT-SC
The DuraTech 7"-8" Class A Chimney Pipe Storm Collar is required with DuraTech flashing to create a weather-proof penetration through the roof deck. Seal inner edge of the collar to the chimney pipe with non-hardening 500° F high-temperature sealant. Made of aluminum.

DuraTech 7" Class A Chimney Pipe Round Ceiling Support Box - 7DT-RCS
The DuraTech 7" Class A Chimney Pipe Round Ceiling Support Box The round ceiling support box is used to support chimney pipe and provides a positive connection between support box and chimney with a built-in twist-lock. Supports up to 60' of DuraTech Chimney. Use adapter to attach DVL or DuraBlack to the support box. Painted black. Trim collars are sold separately.

DVL 8" Double Wall DVL / Single Wall DuraBlack Chimney Adapter - 8DVL-ADC
The DVL 8" Double Wall DVL / Single Wall DuraBlack Chimney Adapter is a component that is used in a typical venting installation. Use to connect from double-wall DVL and/or single-wall DuraBlack to DuraTech, DuraPlus, and DuraLiner for a through-the-wall or ceiling support installation. Required for proper connection.
